After a few tough weeks Leinster bounced back in style with a comfortable 30-12  win over Toulouse. Garry Ringrose played the full game and produced some magical moments, how he grounded the ball ahead of Medard, defied logic.  James Tracy entered the game on the 33rdminute, starting with a lineout which he nailed and things progressed nicely after that.  Unfortunately Rhys Ruddock was pulled from the game due to illness but this allowed Caelan Doris to get his first taste of European action when he came off the bench.

Unfortunately Munster were out-classed by a powerful Saracens side. Darren Sweetnam and Andrew Conway played the entire game on either wing.  Darren scored a try in the second half and while both tried to get involved, Munster didn’t have too much ball to create attacking opportunities but their defence was very good throughout.

In the Greene King IPA Championship Ealing had a comprehensive 54-21 win over Bedford with Dave Johnston coming off the bench for Ealing to see the game out.  Jerry Sexton and Jersey Reds will be disappointed with their 20-24 loss to Nottingham.

Fiona Coghlan was on the RTE panel for their coverage of the Bateman Cup final between Garryowen and City of Armagh.
