t’s taken 39 years, but Ireland now have a southern hemisphere series win to add to the many other plaudits Irish Rugby has won this season. In a hard-hitting, intense test match, where neither side were willing to give an inch, Ireland shaded the scoreboard with a 20-16 win in Sydney. Jordi Murphy took to the field on 30 minutes & was an integral part of a gritty performance by the Irish pack. The team have earned themselves a well-deserved break.
Arthur Lanigan-O’Keeffe took home another medal for Ireland at the Modern Pentathlon World Cup Final in Astana, Kazakhstan at the weekend. Arthur finished joint fifth after the fencing event, kicking on in the remaining events of riding & the laser-run to claim the bronze medal.
