Natalya Coyle won the Irish Women’s Epee 2019 National Championship.  She was fencing for the Brian Boru Fencing Club.  This is Natalya’s second year in a row to win the title.

Another Interprovincial weekend saw Ulster taking the spoils against Leinster, 14-13.  Fergus McFadden scored a try on the stroke of half-time to put Leinster in the lead before being replaced on the 63rdminute.  Noel Reid played the full game and took over the captaincy for the latter part of the game. Bryan Byrne started and produced a solid 52 mins.  Caelan Doris got another full game under his belt at Number 8.  Nick Timoney entered the fray for Ulster for the final quarter & brought his typical physical presence.  Joy Neville was also Assistant Referee for the game.

Munster beat Connacht 27-14 in Thomond Park.  Andrew Conway played the full game for Munster and produced a fine effort.  Tom Daly played the full game for Connacht and has really found his feet with Connacht. Eoghan Masterson came on in the 56 minute & Darragh Leader came on at the 72ndminute.

Ealing Trailfinders had a tough 33-12 loss to the Greene King IPA Champions London Irish.  Peter Lydon played 60mins & Ealing Trailfinders finished an impressive second in the Championship.
